Ministry of Reconciliation and Outreach

The Ministry of Reconciliation and Outreach is committed to providing hope to the homeless and to those transitioning from incarceration by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and by helping to improve their quality of life. Presently, we meet in downtown Atlanta on the 3rd Saturday of each month to feed and minister to the homeless. The ministry is currenly working to provide: clothing and shelter, career counseling, work through employment agencies, and temporary services. We are working to partner with established business owners and MARTA to help the homeless and transitioning individuals to become gainfully employed--so they can begin again. We will keep you posted on our progress.
Sharon Johnson
Dr. Johnson has a desire to help improve the quality of life for those who are experiencing homelessness or who are transitioning from incarceration to the outside world. She, along with her family, desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Dr. Johnson has worked in Human Services for 20 years helping to empower others using her resources and vast experience to improve the quality of her client's lives. Dr. Johnson has worked with the State of Georgia Unemployment Insurance Division, Department of Medical Assistance, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program, and the DeKalb County Board of Health. Dr. Johnson's skill set includes trainer, facilitator, auditor, interim director, manager, independent contractor, substitute teacher, assistant director, court-appointed Special Advocate for Children, Prenatal Smoking Cessation Educator, author, and speaker.
Dr. Johnson holds a MA degree in Human Service Counseling Marriage and Families from Liberty University; an MS degree in Human Resource Management/Development from National Louis University; a Certificate in Social Work and a Ph.D. degree in Human Services from Capella University. She is married with two children..
